CCTV brand promotion: New Era of personal approach in India

It is a common sight in India to find many global companies vying with one another to promote their brands. In this scenario, ARGUS from Korea and TIANDY from R.O.C, have adopted a novel approach. Their exclusive distributor in India, LOOKMAN had come out with a chain of Road shows in many cities of India.
The road shows started with the city of Lookman Head office, Chennai on 2nd February 2010 and covered a total of five cities, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and New Delhi. In each city the events were conducted in large banquet halls of Multi Star hotels. For each Road show, in order to have one to one interaction, planning for around 50 dealers to come, about 75 dealers were shortlisted and invited. However the attendees exceeded the expectations and on an average in each city, more than 70 dealers participated & witnessed a powerful presentation of the Products of both the companies. The latest products were also displayed and demonstrated.
Mr John Wayne, Head of Marketing, ARGUS & Mr Robin, Executive marketing had made impressive presentation on their range of DVRs including their latest SLD series and full D1 resolution HRD series of DVRs . These DVRs were also displayed / demonstrated to the delegates during the road shows.
Mr. Sherman, Marketing Manager-Asia pacific, Tiandy and Mr Buuce, Senior Engineer had exhibited their amazing range of Matrix Switchers, Fibre optic Trans receivers and IR speed domes. Their PPT presentation gave a quick insight in their Design and manufacturing facilities as well the technical superiority of their products.
Dr Saifuddin Bharmal, Managing Director of Lookman inaugurated the events at Chennai while Mr Juzer Bharmal, Head of Business Development and Mr Ammar Bharmal, Technical head provided the much needed interface between the Indian participants and the abroad principals during the entire proceedings in all other cities.
The participants had good amount of fun and enjoyment with the Party games and a smart Quiz which pushed up the spirit of the entire event. The events concluded with the distribution of Certificates, Mementoes and surprise Gifts. Both the foreign companies were excited with the overwhelming response and have expressed the desire to have such events regularly done in India. Very soon other companies from Asia would be coming to partner with Lookman for such events to promote their brands. A new Gateway has been opened by LOOKMAN for the foreign companies to get a quick & effective reach to the vast CCCTV market in India.
